Isogenix does it work?
Isogenix does it work? That is the question we are going to take a look at. First off, let's look at the program.
Let me state up front that I am not an Isogenix distributor, nor do I have any stake in the company. This is an unbiased, third party review.
It stacks up with Medifast, Slimfast, or Herbalife's Shapeworks programs combined with a low calorie detox plan.
With this plan, you start off with a 2 day pre-cleanse phase before you start Day 1 of the program proper.
You then follow that with fifteen cleanse days and fifteen shake and/or soup days
Two meal replacements a day, either soups or shakes for breakfast and your evening meal make up the pre-cleanse days.
The regular meal is a low fat meal consisting of about 400 to 600 calories that is supplemented with a drink that enhances your mental and physical performance called Ionix Supreme.
The supplement, along with 2 liters of water, is continued every day.
You also take three antioxidant tablets and 4-5 "Essentials" capsules each day combined with twenty minutes of exercise daily.
On the cleanse days, days 1 and 15 you drink a "Cleanse for Life" drink mix four times each day and eat nothing at all.
On the shake and/or soup days you have a shake or soup for one meal, preferably breakfast and two "sensible meals" of around 400-600 calories.
Isagenix also offers "targetted nutrition supplements" that they encourage you to add into your regimen.
So, Isogenix does it work?
Like any meal replacement program, there are some questions about the long term effectiveness. While you are on the program, you will lose weight, due mostly to the reduced calorie intake. However, without a long term program, it is possible to return to old habits and regain the weight.
But, does it work - yes, it does work. But some caution is advised and there are other, less costly ways to lose weight that will last a life time.
As to the opportunity, again, as has been stated before in this blog, anyone wanting to add additional money to their income by joining a MLM, or network marketing company needs to find ways to learn marketing, establish a good cash flow while they are building their residual income and then find an abundance of leads to build their business.
