No you can't "intercept" carbs and carbs are not bad to eat either. What is bad to eat is food that doesnt come from nature (animals,vegtables etc..). I take it you're trying to loose weight and thats why you're asking.

My advice is very simple, not expensive and no gimmicks:

Stay away from ANY PROCESSED FOOD. So forget about diet food, low carb snack bars, etc..... STAY FAR AWAY from anything with partially hydrogenated oil in it. This is the most unhealthy thing in the world.

Shop around the edges of the supermarket (meat, fish, dairy, fruits and vegtables) and don't buy that processed expensive junk in the middle.

If you can stay away from anything with white flour, sugar (and all its counterparts-high fructose corn syrup, etc..) you will loose weight automatically.

Fact: There was no such thing as heart disease before processed food was invented.

Remember-the diet industry doesnt want you to loose weight, they want to keep you as a customer by having you loose a little, gain it back and then have to buy their product again!!!!
