June 28, 2007: Healthy Oregon Act signed into law!

At 10:50 Thursday morning (June 28), Governor Ted Kulongoski signed SB 329, The Healthy Oregon Act, into law.  He was flanked by a bipartisan group of legislators from the House and Senate.  Pictured above (left to right) are Sen. Laurie Monnes Anderson, Sen. Bill Morissette, Sen. Alan Bates, Maribeth Healy, Governor Ted Kulongoski, Sen. Ben Westlund, and Rep. Mitch Greenlick.

SB 329 passed out of the Senate on June 20. (22 to 7)  SB 329 passed out of the House on June 22. (53 to 5)
